The American Translators Society upholds a rigorous set of international standards in relation to the Translation industry.

These standards include, but are not limited to, the Unicode standard for localization and internationalization, the ISO (International Standards Organization) 9000 / 12000 standards, and many others. We have also adopted a common standard created by a working group within the society that incorporates those standards along with many other checks that specify the manner in which translations should be processed. These have taken into account various international government standards (including the I.N.S. and State Department of the U.S.A.) as well as multinational standards.

Questions concerning these specific A.T.S standards, accepted internationally, and far surpassing any known government's expectations, can be addressed to us at .
